You know that crushing feeling you get when you discover a brand or product you love has less-than-above-board practices? Like, when you realize a fragrance you’ve fallen hard for actually has animal product ingredients or test on animals (yeah, that feeling!).

Part of our core mission at DefineMe Fragrance means you can rest easy knowing that you’ll never (ever!) feel that way again. Our fragrances start with many questions: What’s its purpose? What should it smell like? What should it be called?

But one thing that’s always a given is that we never include animal products in our ingredients! Cruelty to animals...ahhh, no thank you!

We are PETA-certified vegan and Leaping Bunny-certified cruelty-free.

Social Impact

We adore creating divine-smelling scents, but the reason we created DefineMe was with a strong pull in our hearts to empower barrier-crushing, mold-breaking women. It’s that mission that compelled us to find a social mission to match.

Since 2016, we've donated $1 for every product you've purchased to She’s The First, a “non-charity” kinda charity that's fighting gender inequality by supporting girls in low-income countries to be the first in their families to graduate from high school—and a no-brainer choice! So every time you purchase a DefineMe Fragrance, $1 goes to She’s The First* and together we’re making a dent in the 31 million girls worldwide who currently receive no education (crazy, but true!). *DefineMe Dollar includes full-priced products". 

Sustainability

We believe that DefineMe’s mission to help empower through our scented products includes a responsibility to Mother Earth. 

Since the brand’s inception in 2015, we have been working hard to find ways to create products using the most sustainable practices. DefineMe’s packaging is deliberately minimal, our boxes are made using FSC-certified paper and vegetable-based and soy inks, and the bottles we use are all either recyclable or refillable. With the exception of our 1.7 oz bottle (which is recyclable), you may repurpose all of our bottles to store other products. Just screw off the pump, clean with hot water, and re-fill.

Finally, to minimize our carbon footprint, we manufacture locally here in Southern California.
